If you already have a Direct Debit set up and make a payment within five working days of the payment due date, we may not be able to stop your Direct Debit payment being taken too. Payments can be made earlier than five working days.
If you’ve made a payment and it’s been taken twice, you can follow one of the below steps:
- You can get in touch with your bank to refund the Direct Debit. This can be done by your bank and usually on the same day
- You can contact us to refund the early payment. This usually takes up to 48 hours.
- You can simply leave it, as any payments on your account will act as a credit towards future bills.
